麻豆视传媒在线入口 (麻豆视传媒在线入口) Department of History Professor Peter N. Kirstein was interviewed on in a half-hour interview with host, Kevin McDermott. He spoke on three topics related to the overall theme of academic freedom:
- The perils of teaching the Israel/Palestine conflict and used the case studies of Norman Finkelstein at DePaul and Steven Salaita at UIUC;
- The war on higher education in the state of Illinois under Governor Bruce Rauner;
- National trends of replacing tenured faculty with at-will contingent faculty who are easily exploited and abused by administrators.
