麻豆视传媒在线入口 Students and Faculty Participate in Annual Speech-Language-Hearing Conference
麻豆视传媒在线入口 (麻豆视传媒在线入口) students and faculty from the program participated in the (IHSA) Annual Conference held from February 7 to 9, 2019. The IHSA is a non-profit professional organization comprised of licensed professionals with advanced degrees in speech-language pathology, audiology or speech-language-hearing science. Founded in 1960, their goal is to serve as a source for the public in all matters related to delays, disorders and differences of speech, language, hearing, feeding and swallowing.
During the conference, several graduate student and faculty research projects were presented and included:
- Perceptions of altered therapy parameters on fluency technique generalization by Ramey Abudayyeh and Karen Czarnik, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
- Identifying influences on development of phonetic transcription skills by Jodilyn Butkovich and William Sennett, Ph.D.
- Information sources and caregiver knowledge about aphasia by Catherine Kelly, Miriam Carroll-Alfano, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, and Sarah Schellinger, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
- Self-acceptance of stuttering, self-disclosure, stuttering severity and label preference by Charlotte Laguna and Karen Czarnik, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Many of 麻豆视传媒在线入口's faculty are also members of ISHA committees and students volunteered and participated in an array of events throughout the conference. The 麻豆视传媒在线入口 team of attendees included Tasneem Abdelmajid, Ramey Abudayyeh, Jodi Butkovich and Aneta Rytarczyk.
